BPM Developer for New Zealand/ India

Location: New Zealand (Chennai)
Base Location Chennai

Purpose of Role: 
Key reason why this role exists         
To design, develop, deploy and support BPM processes and services
Engage with the business to review and understand business, functional and data requirements

KEY OUTPUTS

1) Project Execution Delivery
• Utilize experience in process modelling, design patterns, coding practices and application development methodologies to deliver operationally excellent BPM solutions
• Integration of BPM with external systems through web-services
• Input into the design approaches for BPM development
• Co-ordinate with necessary business and IT groups to verify business and design requirements, and to validate volumes, exception handling processes, reporting and monitoring and database details

2) Best Practice and compliance
• Follow the defined MSD approved processes and ensure adherence to them e.g. software development and production assurance processes
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed e.g code/design/peer reviews and any compliance requirements are met.
• Establish and maintain the BPM governance framework for application of BPM at MSD
• Continuously improve and enhance the development process

3) Service Delivery 
    •    Complete required documentation to enable consistent maintenance and support of applications.

4) Strategy, Innovation and Continuous Improvement

    •    Provide input and advice on the use of new toolsets, technology and processes to ensure MSD keeps pace with market best practice and industry trends with respect to cost, quality and service to meet the changing needs of the business.
•    Actively participation in practice forums

Preferred:
• Comprehensive knowledge of BPM principles, lifecycle, models and application development concepts.    •    Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science, Business or an associated discipline
• Certification for relevant technical and management disciplines

Work Experience:   
• Over 5 years experience in delivering major business solutions through to implementation in a large enterprise environment
• Experience in IT Quality processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of alternative software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of process methodologies.  E.g  Lean, six sigma or other continuous improvement approaches 

Product Knowledge: 
• Intalio or other BPMNS
