Business Head for Dubai

POSITION: BUSINESS HEAD MIDDLE EAST (GCC COUNTRIES)
CUSTOMER SEGMENTS: Food products, pharma & nutraceuticals, animal feeds, personal care (cosmetics) 
BASED AT: DUBAI
REPORTING TO: DIRECTOR
KRAs: 
• Oversee all activities of the office and region from base Dubai
• Accountable for overall marketing & sales of Food ingredients to industries in the region
• Provide technical support to existing and potential customers
• Key Accounts Management
• Build, train and motivate team to achieve co.'s objectives
• 
  
Candidates should
• Be technically qualified. 
  Graduate / PG in Food Technology/ Chemical Engg / Pharma / Chemistry / Food Science would fit the requirement well. Additional qualifications in management / marketing would be preferred.
• Preferably have direct experience in MARKETING OF FOOD INGREDIENTS IN THE REGION. 
  Experience in related products / sectors catering to the food industry, would also be considered - packaging, APIs, excipients, analytical and laboratory equipment, reagents... 
  Candidates with experience in selling of other speciality chemicals to the B2B segments could also be considered on merit.
• Have worked or are working in the Gulf region for at least 7 years.
• Have overall experience of at least 15 years in sales and marketing with focus on B2B sales.
• Have established excellent business contacts in the region and should hit the ground running.
• Preferably have established an office / operations for at least one of his previous employers in the middle East;
• Have excellent technical proficiency with good understanding of applications and end uses.
• Have proven track record of building and establishing a market from scratch, preferably in overseas markets;
• Be excellent man managers with flair for identifying opportunities
• Be highly sales and objectives driven
