System Management Engineer for Malaysia



    Responsibilities
    Responsible for engineering and maintaining end user computing environment. This includes the developing new solutions that improve service to the end user community. 
    The person who is innovative and can bring new ideas and solutions to problems as well as effectively manage existing technologies to ensure high performance and reliability. 
    The person will implement the plans developed for our server and application environment and see that they are monitored and tuned to maximize systems availability, security and performance.

    Mandatory Skills
    1. Minimum five years of Desktop Support experience required.
    2. Expert knowledge of desktop imaging tools, PC management tools (SCCM,KACE, LANDesk etc)
    3. Sound working knowledge of network concepts including, TCP/IP, DNS, and LAN/WAN concepts
    4. Solid understanding and competency with Microsoft tools, ie. AD, group policies, etc.
    5. Solid experience with Windows/Linux based operating systems including installation, system administration and troubleshooting is required (Win 7 & Win 8).
    6. Patch Management utilizing Symantec Altiris, Dell KACE, or Microsoft SCCM 
    7. Must be able to work well within a technical team, as well as interface well with the outside business units, Service Desk team, Desktop support team, IT developers and analysts, and individual customers from the business user community.
    8. Experience with automation using PowerShell, VBScript or other languages 
    9. At least one Current Microsoft certifications such as MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or equivalent skills is required.
    10. Good knowledge of one of the Database My Sql/MS SQL/Oracle 
    11. Incident/Problem management experience
    12. Experience managing windows updates for 1000+ systems
    13. Experience with embedded OSs
    14. Software Distribution and Provisioning
    15. Inventory management
    16. Process Automation
      3+ years experience
