Microbiologist for Ajman, UAE (2+ Years Experience)

The Role
1. Must prepare inspection report in specified format with required details as per HACCP/ ISO system.
2. Must be well versed with UAE health and hygiene regulations and must know practical applicability and expectations of authorities.
3. Communicate with production department and provide them daily progress updates on quality.
4. Develop and maintain good relationship with Production and QC departments 
5. Report all issues concerning every microbiological analysis immediately. 
6. Maintain records and files of all microbiological analysis made in the laboratory.
7. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory and the plant.

Scope of Work
Microbiological analysis of seafood (Fresh and Frozen), poultry, breaded finished products, samples from online production, ingredients that are used in the production, water and ice.

Analysis Includes:
Total plate Count
Escherichia coli
Staphylococcus aureus
Salmonella
Listeria monocytogenes
Vibrio parahaemolyticus
Vibrio cholera
Yeast and Mold (Breaded and Ingredients) 

Chemical Analysis:
Histamine
Swab analysis for hygiene both Personal and Equipment’s
Environmental Analysis
Daily documentation of workers personal hygiene and daily sanitation.

Requirements
1. Must be a postgraduate in Microbiology or fisheries or Aquaculture, must possess seafood industry experience.
2. Well versed with required quality, microbiological parameters and the technicalities as per UAE regulations and international standards.
3. Must have good knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards and their application in seafood industry.
4. Must be a good communicator, good command over English language.
5. Must be good at using computers specially, excel, words and outlook.
