QHSE Officer / Safety Officer for Basrah, Iraq

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role involves a work schedule of 63 days on & 21 days off, with company provided accommodation & meals, while being based at our port operations at Umm Qasar Port, near Basra city, Iraq. Return Air Tickets will be provided every time the candidates goes on leave to his home country.

1) Conduct HSE Inspections.
2) Maintain QHSE Records.
3) Maintain QHSE Documents.
4) Assist in the identification of new processes.
5) Follow up on outstanding non-conformity reports. 
6) Review and ensure Non-Conformance Reports up to date.
7) Support the assessment of external suppliers/subcontractors, when required.
8) Assist in the audit of suppliers and subcontractors as required by the Businesses.
9) Follow up on KPIs/HSE Evidence Records.
10) Where required, provide assistance to the QHSE Manager in delivering QHSE related training.
11) Assist in daily departmental functions.
12) Other QHSE related duties as and when required.

Health and Safety

1) Strictly follow Health & Safety guidelines set by their superiors at all times.
2) To ensure work is executed in a safe manner and in accordance with instructions given to them by their superiors.

Environment

1) Responsible for following EMS guidelines given to them by their superiors.

1) Previous knowledge/experience of QHSE and auditing preferable.

2) Minimum 7 years of experience.

3) NEBOSH Certification

4) ISO Consultation Experience is a must.

5) Should have experience of inspection of equipments.

6) Diploma / Engineering Degree
