Quantity Surveyor for Qatar

ROLE DESCRIPTION: 

• Measurement and assessment of works done in the field based on the drawings. This will involve visiting the site with our Engineers and qualifying the quantities

• Preparation of IPA with substantiation of measured works.

• Rate build up for various items

• MIR and IR preparation and sign offs from 
consultants.

• Help build up VO claims.

• Cost planning, estimating and bill of quantities production

• Performing risk and value management

• Providing advice on procurement strategy

• Preparation of tender and contract documents

• Providing pre and post-contract cost management services

QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• The Client is looking for BSc (QS) MRICS senior QS’s aged 28 – 36 years (single or married) with predominantly 'consultancy side' experience on a salary of QR 28 – 36 k per month tax free.

• The Client will provide one month’s accommodation and car hire, incoming flights and medical insurance and get them through the APC, if they are not Chartered.

• Looking at a minimum 2 years stay and good career advancement for right candidates and annual bonuses and pay rises.

• Nationality irrelevant providing the primary degree is a BSc in Quantity Surveying.

• Any Nationality with Middle East Experience preferred
