NDT Multi Technician for Qatar

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Perform UT (Both Longitudinal and Shear wave) Inspections and reporting independently;
 Have good command on UT weld scanning by preparing scan plans, doing calibration, data analysis and report generation independently.
 Conversant with use of UT electronics such as Sonatest D10, USM 35, USM GO and Panametrics etc. and accessories used in inspection;
 Analyse applications, decide probes, test samples etc required for inspections;
 Independently can perform MPI, DPT (both visible and fluorescent) as per ASME
 Maintenance of testing equipment.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
 Bachelors degree / Diploma or relevant Engineering qualification;
 Qualified /Certified and experienced in UT Technique, holding PCN 3.1 or 3.2 in UT. Combined UT experience (longitudinal and shear wave inspection) should be at least 3 years, out of which UT weld examination experience should be 1 1/2 years;
 Base NDT qualifications should be ASNT level II, MT and DP Testing;
 Shall be capable of reading / reviewing general arrangement drawings, piping & instrumentation drawings (P & ID) and isometrics;
 Knowledge of Inspection techniques in Oil & Gas Industrial sector;
 Conversant with material, test and inspection standards;
 Good communication in English, both written & spoken;
 Computer skills, knowledge of MS office applications, Internet etc;
