Primary Purpose of the Job :
Provide Technical HSE support to Onshore & Offshore engineering projects , in order to achieve the required technical quality and integrity of work , while considering project objectives in terms of safety, time and cost.
Educational Qualification / Skills :
Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Post graduate qualification in Safety Engineering or Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
Effective communication, technical writing and presentation skills in English.
Knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or QP standards related Technical HSE.
Hands on skills on QRA, SIL and Piping network analysis software.
Experience :
10 years post graduate experience, out of which 6 years shall be in Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in developing and endorsing technical HSE design deliverables, such as process safeguarding philosophy, layout of facilities, Fire & Gas Detection design, Fire Protection System Design, etc.
Experience in developing FERA and QRA models, interpretation of results and preparation of reports.
Participation in HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOP, EERA, SIL studies , etc.
