Assistant Retail Business Manager for Bahrain

Position: Assistant Manager (Vertical Head) - Retail Business - Electronics & Home Appliances Division

Company: One of the largest business Group in Bahrain.

Location: Bahrain

Key Responsibilities:

To plan and implement strategies that enhance retail business
To set sales targets/budget for the retail sales team and ensure achievement by offering promotional support or any assistance required
To ensure gross profitability of sales, minimizing on customer returns and promoting appliance of higher profitability
To organize clearance sales to sell aging and damaged inventory
To manage retail department’s expenses within limits budgeted
To assist the Sales & Marketing Manager in improving the net profitability of the division from Retail sales.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & RETAIL SALES EFFECTIVENESS
To comply with showroom checklist to ensure that outlets are attractive for customer
To coordinate with Division’s Marketing; implement effective advertising and advertising and merchandising programs to increase showroom traffic and sales
To ensure product rotation; new and seasonal products are displayed attractively at all times
To keep up to date on current new markets trends, competitive activities and pricing
  
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
To educate the sales team on customer satisfaction standards and implement them, ensuring professional customer handling
To handle customer issues, follow up their complaints; resolve complaints and build up satisfaction

WORK EFFICIENCY
  • To define and update the Processes and procedures which continuously improve performance and enhance customer convenience
  • To implement safety and security procedures that result in a better work environment
  • To establish and maintain smooth working relationships with other departments

·         LEARNING & STAFF DEVELOPMENT
  • To arrange training, knowledge and skill development programmes for staff on a regular basis. Identify and support weak workers with proper training and motivation tools
  • To develop and motivate weak performing employees with the required training
·  To monitor and measure individual employee performance, , provide constructive feedback to employees on an ongoing basis as needed and during the formal appraisal process, communicating management’s expectations

Tentative salary: (BD 500 to 600+ HRA BD 300 + Company maintained Car + Performance linked annual bonus), depending on your present drawn salary.
