HR Manager / Human Resources Manager - Cairo, Egypt
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed HR Manager to work for a leading logistics and freight forwarding firm overseeing all of their Africa operations from within their offices in Cairo, Egypt.
The successful HR Manager will be responsible Human Resources policies, procedures and practices over the group's entire operations in Africa. Responsibilities will include:
• Manage all employment law
• Develop human resources objectives in line with business strategies
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Oversee regional and national HR management and policy implementation
• Ensure that HR policies and procedure are being consistently adhered to
• Advise on employment and employee termination
• Be involved in the successful resolution of industrial disputes
• Be involved in performance appraisals, organisational change and management development
• Manage payroll structuring for 80 members of staff
• Training and management support
• Coordination of HR activities over 10+ African offices with central and agency management staff
Personal requirements:
• French, English and Arabic are requirements
• Experience within HR Management is a must
• Previous management support experience
• Experience of managing large number of blue collar workers is a must
• Previous experience of the logistics industry is an asset
• Regional or international experience is an asset
• Experience of maintaining Industrial Relations or an Automotive background are advantages
• Formal HR qualifications
• Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills
