• To ensure that all products and documentation are inspected for conformance to required criteria prior to dispatch to clients from raw materials and components through repair, in process and final acceptance testing
• Assist in obtaining & implementing ISO 9001 and API Licince by reviewing all procedures and creation of any new procedures.
• To raise non – conformance reports against non – conforming equipment, components or documentation and pass the information to Company HSEQ Manager.
• Actively participating in Quality Assurance activities.
• Responsible for ensuring that all relevant activities are in compliance with the company’s quality management system.
• Actively participating and promoting quality improvements to ensure zero quality defects.
• Responsible for final inspection of products, components and documentation before release from the Operation department.
• Responsible for final inspection of products, components and documentation before release from the Operation department.
• Responsible for ensuring that all calibrated equipment used within the production processes is within calibration dates
• Carry out QA/QC Inspections on Incoming and Outgoing spares & valves.
• Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks can be reduced.
• Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented, and administer follow-ups.
• Keep suitable records of inspections, incidents, accidents and near-misses.
• Managing and organizing the safe disposal of hazardous substances.
• On-site contact for any client on QC matters.
• Administer KPI’s and update records for all depots.
• Fulfill store persons responsibilities when required.
• Be prepared to carry out above duties at another branch, or customer site.
• To be proactive in highlighting potential quality improvements to products, processes or documentation.
• Completed a recognized apprenticeship
• Relevant demonstrable experience in a quality inspection position within the industry.
• Competent on normal P.C. applications and knowledge of valves.
• Practical knowledge of hydraulic, electronic and electrical systems or Mechanical
• The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in a workshop environment and knowledge and skill to use inspection tools and read engineering drawings and must have previous experience in a QC inspection role. You must be able to utilize relevant QC Inspection Techniques and instruments to an acceptable level of competence. Must be able to create and implement ITP process.
