    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Job Title : RETAIL SALES MANAGER

    Reporting To : OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Roles & Responsibilities:-
    Retail Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the overall profitability of the store.
    1. MAXIMIZE SALES POTENTIAL
    Meet the stores sales target every month
    Set daily/weekly/monthly targets for staff 
    Analyze Results Staff results & Merchandise Productivity & take necessary steps on those results
    Effective Implementation of Sales Promotions
    2. CUSTOMER SERVICE
    Selling Skills Training & Coaching of all Staff
    Ensure Customer Satisfaction
    3. DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE
    Train / Develop / Motivate Staff
    Counsel & Discipline the staff
    Evaluate staff Performance and take appropriate steps 
    4. LEADERSHIP
    Be the Role Model / Set the Standards
    Communication (Up/Down & Laterally with Peers)
    Creates a Positive Environment / Attitude
    Team Player & Builder (within own store & with all others)
    Pro-Active Looks ahead and plans for it

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
    Experience working within the jewelry industry in similar position
    Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and have working knowledge of basic office operations
    Strong and concise communication skills, both oral and written in Hindi and English

    Team player mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Roles & Responsibilities:-
    1. Would be working in any of our Kanz jewelers outlet, primarily involved in customer interaction, greeting the customers, understanding the customer requirements and showing various designs and jewelry items that suites the requirement, budget and taste of the customers.
    2. Coordinating with the sales team and ensuring that the customer requirement is satisfied.
    3. Ensuring that the sales staffs are presentable and attend the customers properly.
    4. Coordinating with other Store Manager and Asst. Store In-charges in day to day operations.
    5. Managing & checking the visual merchandize at the shop floor and also to ensure that the things are kept properly and are organized.
    6. Need to ensure that the sales person has given proper pricing on the product and also assisting the customers during the billing process.
    7. Should be good in cross- selling and up-selling techniques.
    8. Keeping proper vigilance on daily basis at the shop floor.
    9. Would be responsible for staff attendance, staff breaks (Tea, Lunch), Rooster preparations ( monthly).
    10. Resolving employee issues and grievances, conflicts.
    11. Delegating sales and Old gold purchase targets to the sales staffs.
    12. Maintaining daily stock records, tagging and sales record, GRV (Gold Receipt Voucher) & GDV (Gold Delivery Voucher) records.
    13. Ensuring that the monthly sales & OGP targets of the store are achieved.
    Job Specification:-
    1. Should have at least 4 years of Customer handling and team handling experience in Retail sector preferably from jewellery industry.
    2. Candidate should be presentable, tall, good looking and should have excellent communication skills.
    3. Good in English and Hindi communication. Knowledge of other languages like Arabic, French and Spanish would be an added advantage.
    4. Should be a multitasker and should be flexible for long working hours.
    5. Should have passion for Customer Service and eagerness to learn and mental toughness to work under pressure.
    6. Should be good in calculations and prioritizing work tasks.
    7. Good analytical and people management skills. Team handling experience would be an added advantage.
    8. Should not have any physical disability, or those who have undergone major surgeries in recent times should not be considered.

    14. The role will be primarily involved in customer interaction, understanding the customer requirements and showing various designs and jewellery items that suites the requirement, budget and taste of the customers.
    15. Would also be involved in generating sales and achieving the monthly sales and Old Gold purchase targets.
    16. Maintaining the stock, ensuring that the stocks are displayed properly and also managing the visual merchandizing.
    17. Coordinating with the branch in-charges in stock counting, stock transfer, maintain proper inventory of the stocks and any new stock purchase.
    18. Should be taking responsibility in Old Gold purchase and reinsuring with the respective in-charge before purchasing the Old Gold from the customers.
    19. Deliver sales service in a professional, prompt and friendly manner.
    20. Any other duties assigned by the superior that are directly or indirectly associated with this role.
    Job Specification:-
    12. Candidate should have at least one year experience in retail industry preferably in jewellery industry.
    13. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills required.
    14. Good in English and Hindi communication. Knowledge of languages like Arabic, French and Spanish would be an added advantage.
