Software Developer for Eclipse Trading, Hong Kong

Eclipse Trading is a proprietary trading firm specializing in Derivatives trading, including market making with its headquarters in Hong Kong.   Combining our trading experience, technology and risk management, we currently trade the Asian markets and have offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Sydney. 

Technology is an integral part of our business. In order to address our development needs, we are seeking high caliber individuals to join our development team. 

The successful candidate will be a member of the Hong Kong team responsible for developing market links for our in-house developed trading systems.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Develop low latency exchange connectivity software on Linux platform
• Test code rigorously and participate in code reviews
• Give and receive constructive feedback
• Able to interact with traders and quant strategist to gather system requirements when necessary
• Provide Tier 3 support
• Play an active role in your teams growth and results

What you offer 

• University Degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of C++ & Linux server side development
• Experience developing low latency exchange connectivity software for China, Australia and/or HK exchanges preferred
• Solid understanding of thread & network socket programming
• General Support knowledge
• Experience with Linux kernel
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Knowledge of written and spoken Mandarin is a plus
