Summary: 

Crewing manager is responsible with supervising of overall recruitment, logistics, crew planning and administration of all sea staff for the managed vessels; relations with principals; budgeting; development, promotion of the company & etc.

Job Description

Recruitment:

Verify the fleet crew request to various agents send;
Shortlist & scrutiny of Checklist-120HOP (Employment Application Form for Seafarers);
Conduct Second interview of shortlisted candidates;/Third interview by Marine / Technical department;/Fourth interview by GM / Tech Manager;
Verification of all STCW documents & All other project related Documents;
Verification of authenticity of COC;
Reference checks with at least 3 previous employers;
Complete and verify Checklist-121HOP (Record of Crew Documents) for approved candidates;
Complete crew briefing form Checklist-122HOP (Induction Briefing of Crew before Employment and issue relevant employment contract 
Communicate and coordinate with Master of the Fleet for related crew problems
Budgets:
Prepare annual budget for expenses on crew of entire fleet and 
Verify Fleet crew List and maintain KPI for salaries and coat of recruitment;
Verify and authorize crew salary payments and BOW;
ISM & ISO Certification:
Maintain files as per QSMS for crewing department;
Make sure crew recruited onboard meet Flag state / Class / IMO / Local coast state requirements;
Review QSMS for relevant procedures for crewing department.


Experience: 10 years of related experience and/or exposure and training in similar function in the offshore industry.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education 

Required Skills:

Knowledge of vessel management, HR and the Maritime industry as a whole to successfully work in Crew Management at a senior level.

Able to work under pressure and in time constraints, well organized and focused on achieving results
