AutoCAD Draftsman for Oman

AutoCAD Draftsman (HVAC & MEP) position is fully responsible for Design and AutoCAD Drafting Shop Drawings, As Built drawings for MEP Projects related to infrastructure projects, Star Hotel projects, High Rise Towers, Airport projects, Metro projects etc.

AutoCAD Draftsman - HVAC: 

The Employee responsibility includes design and AutoCAD drafting of complete HVAC works including air distribution calculation, duct sizing, duct layout, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, diffusers / grill sizing etc. and plumbing, drainage and firefighting layouts.
Ducts & Chilled Water Piping Design with Proper distribution to ASHRAE standards.
Preparation HVAC & CHW shop drawings based on Architecture, Structural, & Interior Design drawings; Air terminal Selections from catalogues; Layout & Section Preparation for Mechanical Pant Rooms & CHW Pump Rooms; Energy Transfer rooms.
Knowledge of referring Technical Catalogues in preparing shop drawings; Cooling Towers Layout & Sections; Duct Riser/Shaft Layouts & Sections; Ducts & CHW hanging and support details; Builders work drawings (Slab & Wall openings); Taking Quantity take off; Learning & work on other MEP trade shop drawings & coordination layouts; As Built Drawings - MEP.

AutoCAD Draftsman - MEP: 

The Employee responsibility includes preparation of COMBINED SERVICES shop drawings including preparation of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Electrical etc., Employee responsibility also includes design works, Quantity take off, preparation of As Built drawings etc.
Good Visualization of Architecture, Structure of building which is very much required in preparing coordination shop drawings and high light the possible clashing well in advance to the manager with adequate section details; Trouble shooting wherever clashing found among MEP trades; Trouble shooting to achieve clearance height as required by clients; Pre Fixing / Pre Reserving Bottom levels for all MEP trades and advising draughtsman who will be preparing respective trade shop drawings; Preparations of Builders work drawings (Slab & Wall openings).

Job Skills:

The ideal Candidate should have exposure in working of MEP services. 
Minimum 5-10 years Experience in related field of specifications. 
Strong Team spirit and able to work with fellow team members. 
Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if situation demands. 
Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
Applicant should have Expert Level knowledge in AutoCAD Release 2000 & Higher; Revit MEP Release 2012 and Higher;Other Products Word & Excel.
The incumbent should have exposure in working for MEP services.

Calculation of Heat Load for Small Projects
Head Calculation for Ducting and Piping System
