Manager - Instructional Design and Learning Technologies

Responsibilities:


• Spreadhead the The Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business (ALJGSB) continued efforts to integrate technology throughout its programmes.
• Redesigning programmes for blended and online delivery, faculty, student and end-user training.
• writing policies which guide the use of instructional technologies at the School, as well as leading the IDLT team.
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
• State instructional end goals and create content that matches them.
• Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.
• Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
• Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.
• Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
• Mastery of technology in education, creativity and commitment to the superior ALJGSB Faculty and Student experience. 


Requirements:


• Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
• Solid knowledge and experience of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.


Must Have:


• Masters degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology or related field.
• Certification in University Teaching and Learning.
• Strong leadership skills, exceptional communication, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to embrace and bring change as well as a sound customer service orientation.
