One of our prestigious client, who provides a Complete Mining Services for Surface, underground operations & hard coking Coal are hiring for their Byerwen Project in Queensland, is a coal operation in the Bowen Basin area It is located west of Glenden and once operational the mine will produce up to 10 million tonnes of hard coking coal per year.
Position: Mining Engineer
Qualification:
Degree in Mining or Engineering
Minimum 8 years operational experience, preferably in coal
Mine Planning Software literate
Standard 11 induction
Coal Board Medical
Drug & Alcohol Screen
Drivers Licence (manual)
Requirement:
Candidate must have knowledge in Operation i.e. Mine Planning, Design, Scheduling & drill etc.
Candidate should have experience in Health, Safety & Environment standard (Risk & Hazards within the work area, stop job is an unsafe act etc.)
Sound Knowledge of People Management (Review Process), Development & Financial Management
Business /Continuous improvement Safe workplaces increased productivity and increase efficiencies.
Hours of Work: 12 hr Day Night & Day Shift
Roster: 8 Days, 6 Days off.
Duration of Contract: 4 Years
Rate: $120k per annum (AUD)
Note: The person with exposure in Coal Operation only needs to apply
Position: Heavy Duty Mechanics / Fitters
(for CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu)
Experience: 5 experience
Qualification:
Trade qualified diesel fitter
Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile plant Komatsu Haul Tucks, Caterpillar Dozers, Graders, Hitachi Excavators and ancillary equipment
Ability to work in remote locations
Candidate should be quite competent & Fluent in English.
Experience required:5 Years
Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment engines, specifically CAT 3500, CAT 27/32, CAT C175 and other smaller CAT engines
Proven experience with a variety of CAT machinery, including dump trucks, wheel loaders, dozers and graders
The candidate has to service and maintain all mobile plant- Dump trucks, loaders, and excavators.
Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile plant Komatsu Haul Trucks, Caterpillar Dozers, Graders, Hitachi Excavators and ancillary equipment.
Be proactive in relation to safety and ensure a safe working environment across the project
Carry out repairs to equipment to best engineering practices as directed by Shift leading hand
Ensure all relevant plant is appropriately serviced, maintained, managed and operated
Work safely in accordance with the OH&S Policies and Procedures.
Hours of Work: 12 hr Day Night & Day Shift
Roster: 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Days off.
Duration of Contract: 4 Years
Rate: $56.94ph flat rate (AUD)
