We are looking for following key expert for Preparation of Detailed Project Report for Construction of Water Supply Scheme in various towns of Tanzania - presently at Bidding stage

1. Hydrologist ( No. of positions - 04)

The Hydrologist shall be a professional Hydrologist with B.Sc. Degree in Hydrology or equivalent qualification. The Hydrologist shall have a minimum of ten (10) years overall experience and a minimum of five (5) years on similar assignment.
He/ She will be responsible for the water resources assessment and followup, supervision and control of surface water awareness campaigns, works of spring catchments, etc. Two hydrologists (national/international) with experience not less than 10 years in planning, investigation and supervision of integrated water resources activities

2. Economist / Financial Analyst (No. of positions - 04)

The Financial Analyst should be at least a degree holder in the relevant field with at least ten (10) years practical experience in financial analysis especially in water business. He/She will be responsible for determination of financial viability of the technically acceptable options under various technical options, assessment of the costs and benefits accruing over time under each recommended option and the likes and preparation of tariffs, as
described under the scope of assignment. He/She shall be an
economist/financial analyst with experience in water supply services

3. Institutional Expert (No. of positions - 04)

The Institutional Expert should have at least 10 years of specific experience in the relevant field. She/he will be responsible for assessment of the capacity of the Utility in managing water supply and sanitation service in the respective projects, as explained above. It is expected that the Institutional Expert shall provide short term and intermittent inputs.

4. Electromechanical Engineer (No. of positions - 04)

The Electromechanical Engineer should possess at least a B.Sc. in mechanical/electrical or electromechanical engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years working experience; out of which five (5) years must have been on similar assignments with proven success. Must be registered with relevant professional Board.

5. Land Surveyor (No. of positions - 20)

The Land Surveyors must possess a minimum of Advanced Diploma in Land Surveying or Equivalent qualification with a minimum experience of ten (10) years out of which five (5) years must have been on similar assignments with proven success. They should be registered with relevant Board

6. Environmental Specialist  (No. of positions - 04)

The Environmental Expert should be at least a degree holder in the relevant field with at least ten (10) years practical experience in environmental issues out of which five (5) years must be on water related assignments. He/She will be responsible for conducting Environmental Impact Assessment studies in the project area in order to have a full cognizance of the possible negative environmental impacts during implementation and during operation of the works

7. Team Leader  (No. of positions - 04) 

Master Degree in Civil or Water Resources/Sanitation Engg. with 15 years of practical working Exp.; out of which 10 years as a Project Manager or Team Leader in water supply sector

He/she must be accustomed to working with government agencies with good track record on project management and must be registered by relevant professional Board.

8. Assistant Team Leader : (No. of Positions :04)

The Assistant Team Leaders should at least hold degree in Civil engineering or Water Resources/Sanitation Engineering and have at least ten (10) years practical working experience; five of which shall have been as a Project Manager or Team leader or any managerial level on similar assignments with proven success. They must be accustomed to working with provincial
and government agencies with good track record on project management and must be registered by relevant professional Board.

9. Water Engineer  : (No. of Positions 20)

The Water Engineers should possess at least Bachelor of Science in Civil/Water Engineering or Equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years working experience; out of which five (5) years must on similar assignments.The Water Engineers must be registered with relevant professional Board.
