RESPONSIBILITIES AS A QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Competitive Tendering - Analyze
drawings, specifications, Estimations, Rates etc. in order to Prepare and submission Tender for invited new tenders from Private
and Government institutions.
Cost Controlling & Finance -
Ensure value handling of all assets, Materials and Labors of the projects
maintains within Budgeted Parameters.
Value Engineering & Purchase -
Advising to procurement department for cost and profit base
purchasing and Value engineering parameters in order to control costs.
Project Cash Flow Raise Invoices, Variation Certificates/Applications,
Final and interim payment certificates, Analyse subcontractor payment
certificates etc.
Coordination - Maintain close relationship with all parties involved in
the projects including government and local authorities in order to keep
up timely and quality completion of the project.
Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
Measure and value the work done on site
Pay subcontractors
liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
Select and/or source construction materials
Write reports
To have 5 years gulf experience.

Additional certification from the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) is a plus

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: interior fit out
Mechanical or Electrical University degree in Engineering
Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics associated with trade
5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing
construction procedures and practices
Computer literate
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills

MEP Engineer Job Description To ensure that the highest quality of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction work are in accordance with project specific cost and schedule requirements.
Companies Achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing
plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
