- One of our reputed Clients, a Company in the felid of Civil Contracting requires the below position for their Qatar operations.
- Assistant Store Keeper
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collection of Data and preparing reports for managements review.
- To carry out company's stores procedure correctly.
- To ensure updating of Stores Bin Cards and to maintain daily proper record of SRBDs/SIDBs.
- To co-ordinate with Purchase Dept. and ensure that Purchase orders are checked with stores prior to new purchases.
- To issue Stores Transfer vouchers for all materials leaving stores; to other sites and vice versa.
- To maintain proper stores inventory at end of each month.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 10 years experience. Any candidates with less than 10 years experience will not be qualified for assessment.
- Educational qualification: Completed Secondary Certificate or Technical Certificate or University Degree would be very good.
- Should have knowledge of Materials codification and follow up with Stores Supervisor.
- Coordination with storekeepers for updating stores records and coding.
- Should be well versed with Data processing and stores procedures preferably with experience in contracting activities, dealing with building materials, spare parts and stores functions.
- Knowledge of inventory principles and practices

Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific office clerical occupation.
- Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures.
- Answering telephones, typing or word processing, stenography, office machine operation, and filing.
- Take photocopies of documents.
- Keeping files of all official documents, i.e., faxes, inter office memos, letters, and other correspondence.
- Receiving, sorting and arranging for distribution all incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Candidate Profile:
- Must have 10 years experience in MS Office package 2000, Word, Excel & Access. Any candidates with less than 10 years experience will not be qualified for assessment.
- Post-Secondary Diploma and / or university Graduation Preferred.
- Excellent Organizational and Administrative Skills.
- Ability to Handle Multiple Demands in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform duties with a High Degree of Accuracy, Independence and Confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

- To ensure updating of Stores bin Cards and to maintain daily proper record of SRBDs / SIDBs.
- To co-ordinate with Purchase department and ensure that Purchase orders are checked with stores prior to new purchases.
- To issue Store Transfer vouchers for all materials leaving stores to other sites and vice versa.
- To ensure materials received are covered by MRs / LPOs and items on invoices.
- To ensure (Tools on Loan) are properly recorded and signed for by the authorized recipient.
- To ensure stores issued are made against authorized receipt signatures.
- To issue gate passes to gate keepers for all materials leaving stores to other sites and vice versa.
- To maintain proper stores inventory at end of each month.
- Updating market prices on quarterly basis.
- Training Storekeepers Stores Computerization system.
- To maintain proper stores inventory at end of each month.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational qualification University degree (preferred in Commerce / Material / Stores Management).
- Minimum 10 Years as Storekeeper preferably in Construction field with computer skills. Gulf experience preferred.
- Through knowledge of MS Word / Excel / Database required.
- Knowledge of inventory principles and practices
