Hardware Developer 

Job Requirements

• Implementation of circuit development and creation of circuit board layouts
• Preparation and development of requirements and functional specifications 
• Conception, implementation and improvement of analog and digital circuits
• Prototyping and testing of circuits
• Testing the robustness of electronic modules under voltage and/or temperature fluctuations
• Requirement analysis (functionality, EMC, thermal) specification, drafting and design of electronic assemblies for automotive applications
• Requirements analysis (DOORS/PTC) and hardware architecture
• Standard-compliant circuit design (e.g. VDE) and component selection
• Commissioning and testing
• Support for hardware testing and qualification
• Implementation of FMEAs/FMEDAs
• Development and monitoring of time schedules for hardware development

Required Candidate profile

• completed engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering
• many years of experience in the development of electronics in the automotive sector under standard aspects
• Several years of development experience in the field of complex digital circuits and FPGA with high clock rates
• good knowledge of development tools (EDA software, measuring instruments, simulation tools, etc.)
• Knowledge in Safety, ASPICE and MS-Office
• Experience in project implementation in the automotive sector
• Business understanding and cost-oriented thinking
• Independent, systematic and analytical way of working
• good command of English
