Roles and Responsibilities -

• The person will be stationed at embassy of india in kathmandu.
• He will be the one point of contact for all social media needs.
• Translating client needs into design.
• Designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software
• Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts
• The designs will be for social media posts, facebook, twitter, instagram etc.
• The person would also require to do simple animation.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Amend designs after feedback
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

Desired Candidate Profile -

• Mastery of graphic design software like adobe illustrator , photoshop, after effects, premier pro or final cut pro etc.
• Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
• Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer needs in mind
• Ability to communicate design choices clearly
• Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
• Skill of photography and videography would be added advantage  
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
• Person should have the knowledge of Nepalis, Hindi and English . He should be able to type and speak.
