The Role
Hands on experience in a highly technical role with a great deal of autonomy. This is an excellent position for an experienced Android Mobile Developer to move into and progress their career over the coming years. With a focus on Mobile App development, the successful developer will initially work on their specialty platform and will also have the opportunity to cross train onto other platforms. If you have experience across more than one platform then your application will be strengthened.
Skills Required
- Candidate should have proven leadership and managerial skills to independently take decisions, during multiple phases of the services lifecycle
- Candidate must have at least 4 years of Android Application development experience
- Experience in developing mobile products
- In-depth knowledge of Android Enterprise development is must
- Excellent knowledge on Android Application Maintenance and Upgrade
- Excellent knowledge on Android Application Testing
- Experience of Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, REST and XML technologies
- Knowledge in Data Structures
- Excellent programming knowledge in Java
- Experience on SQLite
- Experience with frameworks like Jersey, Hibernate, Spring needed
- Mandatory knowledge on Mobile/Embedded Devices like Applications, UI/App FrameWorks, Middleware/Services, Protocols, Platform Porting
- Strong experience in the design and development (full Life Cycle) of mobile applications (Android)
- Experience with Multi-Threaded applications and good exposure in Eclipse Environment (Android)
- Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading
- Solid back-end skills, ideally in a Java environment where you extended enterprise functionality to mobile devices using JSON
- Mobile location/sensors experience is an added advantage
- Proficient with C++, Java, Eclipse, OOP design, JSON
- Good debugging skills and solid work ethic
Educational Qual: Min Graduate. Graduate / Post graduate in technical field would be preferred
