Brief Job Profile
Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Purpose:
The main reason for the job is: Maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the equipment under the direction of the Supervisor and Maintenance Engineer.
Key Result Areas:
1. Troubleshoot equipments as assigned.
2. Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
3. Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
4. Complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
5. Coordinate special projects, installation or commissioning as directed by the Maintenance Engineer.
6. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
7. Carry phone if required for on-call maintenance.
8. Monitor and maintain all Machines as assigned.
9. Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Engineer which may include cleaning after work activities.
10. Responsible for alerting the Maintenance Engineer of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
11. Complete payroll time sheets and mileage reimbursement and submit to supervisor as determined
12. Maintain a professional courteous manner with all operators, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
13. Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, and Country guidelines.
14. Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
15. Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Guidebook.
16. This job requires exerting 20 to 50 Kgs of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 20 Kgs of
17. force frequently, and/or 5 to 10 Kgs of force constantly.
18. Special activities and other responsibilities as may be determined.
