Experience: 5 to 7 yrs.


Manage and control the Base Management life support budget and expenditure for the sites in accordance with BS Managers direction.

Develop and execute the Service business growth plan for the region with the objective of profitably growing the business by expanding the base business, geographic expansion, capital equipment installation and commissioning, long-term service agreements, site audits, and recommendations for resources and investments

Build the new Workshop/repairs in Congo, Pointe Noire, manage maintenance activities, including machining, welding, assembly and testing, painting of the New facility facility; coordinate and supervise maintenance personnel in order to meet customer expectations for services and company goals, awareness of objectives for safety, quality, schedule and cost.
Prepare and present Base Management annual works plan and budgets, spend predictions.

Manage all aspects of the regional field service business including, but not limited to, supporting proposal development, supporting project execution, commissioning, personnel management, recruiting, training, temporary labor and business travel

Manage the scheduling and movement of service engineers and technicians to support ad-hoc and dedicated service contracts
Support the technical and commercial development of long-term service agreements
Assure proper sales and field service reporting and invoicing
Manage sales and field services financial performance including revenues, margins, and absorption. Monitor performance and ensure achievement of metrics. Report performance to management in periodic calls and meetings
Maintain effective communications with Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Procurement, suppliers, and staff
Build strong business relations with key regional aftermarket customers
Develop plans for continuous improvement processes in line with the company and divisional objectives
Drive Aftermarket business improvement initiatives and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures
Promote and maintain the highest ethical standards in relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned such as warranty resolution support

The successful applicant will have a post-secondary education in Sales and Engineering or equivalent demonstrated experience and a minimum of five years experience managing technical services personnel and projects
Experience in oil, gas, with experience in maintenance, project planning, and cost control management
Ability to lead, develop, and motivate others
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in the international business environment
Experience developing and training field service teams
Proven interpersonal, organizational skills, and flexibility concerning daily business activities
The candidate will be able to perform required responsibilities under minimal supervision
Previous experience in continuous improvement processes and understanding and experience of contracts and their terminology
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge of SAP is preferred
