Evaluate EPC Contractors Logistics Management Systems and ensure all COMPANY requirements regarding LOGISTICS are met.
Monitor EPC Contractors performance against the requirements as stipulated in the contract
Resolve any issues relating to material movement, inventory, warehousing, personnel, transportation, delivery schedules and marine movements for each EPC Contractors
Provide information relating to the Logistics Management of the EPC Contractors through reporting systems
Ensure that the EPC Contractor's program to deliver materials to SITE will meet the project schedule requirements
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the progress of material deliveries, plant and equipment status, POB of the EPC Contractors
Provide advice and assistance to the EPC Contractors on methods for optimizing their LOGISTICS Management Systems
Engineering Graduate with Diploma in logistics or supply chain
Industry Preference: - Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining ,Petrochemical , Hydrocarbon Consulting .
Procurement Manager
Exp: 20 - 25 yrs. | Opening(s): 2
Manage the entire process of project management right from price finalization at each stage, Cross functional meetings, open issues management, proper communication regarding project requirement, evaluation of suppliers’ facility & infrastructure development till the finalization of purchase agreement
Responsible for negotiating the best techno commercial input cost with vendors while bidding in tenders in India
Develop Vendors and negotiate with them to supply the best qualitative products on most competitive prices.
Expedite with vendors to ensure timely delivery, clear bottlenecks, monitor, evaluate, prepare reports and advise the project dep’t. Visit vendor works for rigorous follow up.
Looking out the logistics, transportation (by rail/road/air) of goods movement for leading to minimum lead time.
Responsible for managing logistics of bulk material to the tune of several tones through all modes of transport viz; air, road and surface, build and maintain good relationship with major transporters, port management and vessels charters, strategize and deploy the entire supply chain link in a most efficient and effective manner.
B.E. Mechanical/Chemical Graduate from a recognized Institute
Industry Preference: - Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery & Hydrocarbon Consulting/ EPC firms’ Design Department
Special Skills
Good Communication in English (Written & Spoken) , Presentation and Negotiation Skills.
