Currently we are having an opening for Sr. Web Designer in Kuwait.
Following are the details of the requirement: -
Functional Title : Designer
Corporate Title : Sr. Web Designer
Division : Information Technology Division
Location : Kuwait
Job DUTIES:
Produce, modify or maintain Sharepoint portals and sites.
Work with programmers in implementing server side code to produce
technical, interactive and database driven sites and web applications.
Provide accurate timing estimates for design tasks.
Work with both the business and technical teams to deliver high quality
user interfaces for an excellent user experience.
Contribute to documentation (instructional and technical specification)
where required
Disseminate technical knowledge to the rest of the team wherever
possible
Essential for candidate:
Minimum 3 years experience in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007/2010 and
SharePoint Designer 2007/2010.
Solid understanding of current web technologies, best practices, and
trends, including prototyping for user evaluations.
Deep understanding of user-centered design, usability and best practices
Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts development,
management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and
supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.
Experience with graphics software specially Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Illustrator, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows,
effective use of the data view web part (DVWP), content query web part,
data form web part, navigation customization, and branding customization.
Web development experience (HTML, HTML5, CSS (CSS with multi browser),
CS5, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript) is required.
Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates,
master page customization) is required.
