Job Summary:
Responsible for daily business reporting for the dynamic Web portal, AfghanZariza.com.
The successful applicant will generate original hard and soft news stories about business and the economy in Kabul and in collaboration with our provincial reporters from around Afghanistan. In addition to business stories, the reporter will write profiles of business/entrepreneurs and work with the research department to turn reports and data into compelling news stories.
Responsibilities:
Produce daily news stories for Web site.
Develop, report and write strong, sophisticated stories that can lead the website daily.
Write company and executive profiles as well as other featured content.
Analyze and write stories from research-driven documents.
Shoot photos and conduct video/audio interviews for the Web site.
