We have a job opening for the position of Logistic Manager in one of the Shipping Company in Dubai location.
Experience: 10 Years
Qualification: Graduate/ Post Graduate
Company Profile:
The company is one of the leading shipping freight forwarding companies to provide wide range of services local & international shippers.
Job Profile:
Negotiate the rates with the directly from the s/line, agent/forwarder.
Book the container from the s/line for each & every shipment as per their website or as per there formats or give the instruction to forwarder to book the container as per our requirement.
Co-ordinate with s/line regarding the shipment status vessel details/ETD Dates/Transit time/Via approval/ETA status/Debit note/Draft BL/Brokerage letter/Surrender Letter/Switch BL.
Co--ordinate with Custom Clearance Agent regarding the checklist give us the approval & also discuss the issue with operations regarding export shipment.
Handling Customers order.
Sending Performa Invoices as per the sales agreement.
Placing the order in Baan systems, after confirming availability from Plant/packers.
Ensuring cargo loaded in time as per the planned delivery schedule.
Receiving documents from origin/logistics as per the requirement.
Arranging legalizations and attestation as per the destination requirements.
Dispatching documents in time.
Documents for L/C customers through bank, as per terms.
Ensuring the containers are loading ex transshipments ports in time.
Follow-up on payments.
Follow-up on clearing of containers in time.
Handling Claims - when delayed shipments, mis-routed containers, wrong shelf life, wrong labels, damaged goods, arranging survey etc.
Arranging additional free-time when there is a delay.
Attending all distributors calls, queries, complaints, requirements
