Qualification : Graduate B.S in engineering or Equivalent
Experience : Minimum 08 years in staging works on board ships/rigs.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Follows the repair work lists and instructions from the Production Manager and request from Production Departments with regards to the scaffolding requirements on the projects.
Holds daily meetings with his Supervisors to define job priorities, check progress of the work and provide required advice and support.
Inspects all critical work locations in the yard both on board as well as in dock related to the department and verifies the progress in order to meet the agreed schedule timings.
Responsible for planning and organizing the daily works as per production schedules and work lists/specifications supplied by the production and projects managers as well as for any maintenance activities.
Attends the daily production meeting(s) and provides input/updates as requested.
Contributes and assists in definition / implementation of company’s safety and disciplinary procedures.
Controls stock, quantity & condition of yard scaffolding materials & prepares write off and investment forms for replenishment as required.
Controls & supervises scaffolding sub-contractors performance and progress.
Prepares & monitors the annual budget of his Department for labour, materials and services.
Controls manpower, leave schedules and overtime requirements of his personnel.
Controls proper administration and statistics of scaffoldings volumes and types erected per project.

Job Summary :
The incumbent shall be responsible for the overall management, control and supervision of all staging works on board of ships / rigs or where necessary in or outside the yard and will ensure all scaffoldings are erected, modified or dismantled on time, to the clients satisfaction and in accordance with the latest production schedules.
Provides a fast, smooth, professional and trouble free scaffolding service to all production department heads and Blasting & Painting subcontractors.
To ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times and in accordance with international scaffolding standards and CITB standards.
To ensure an acceptable standard of Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety and Security Management System is maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company’s QEHS&S Manual and Policy.
To support, apply and execute the requirements of ISO-28000 (E) and ISO-20858 (E), ISO 27001, ISPS related to jobs, and Security Management System for the Supply Chain and Information Security Management Systems as required/applicable.
