- We are looking for a Program Manager to join our Clients team and work directly with financial industry clients. If you are a Sr. Level Project or Program Manager with experience working within the Financial Services industry, wed like to hear from you.
The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and defect free in multiple complex
environments. They will join a successful and growing team, with an opportunity to work directly with our clients in a highly visible role.
Responsibilities
Responsibility and accountability to ensure full understanding of the clients business, industry trends, organizational trends and customer needs
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, work breakdown structures and associated time-lines
Develop and maintain the cost estimates, resource plans and any other documentation required to control the project budget
Lead the project team through problem determination and issue resolution as required
Communicate and reinforce the project methodologies and standards developing all project artifacts as required
Manage and coach team leads and their deliverables based on time-lines established, including oversight of a number of projects/engagements
Provide status to required managers/senior executives and Project Management Office
Direct the project team; provide ongoing advice and guidance
Manage client, vendor and technology relationships as required and make recommendations to senior management as the opportunities arise
Proactively anticipate issues and/or organizational challenges and develop mitigating strategies
Thought leadership to drive the organization into new areas of growth for the clients future needs

- Requirements
8-10 years of experience managing complex Application Development projects, with at least 2 years of experience within the financial industry
Client management experience, including a minimum of 3 years experience as a Sr. Leader delivering complex enterprise application development projects
Demonstrated success in delivering large, multi-phase projects across organizational boundaries
Extensive management experience with application development methodologies and standards
Experience with Client management and negotiation
Experience working with/managing third party vendors
Ability to handle difficult clients and client project situations
PMP or equivalent Project Management capability
Advanced communication, organizational and time management skills
Effectively manage the business relationship and ensure deliverables align with the business strategy and direction
Ability to manage people and build highly motivated and empowered teams
Experience in managing senior level technical staff
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Effective/creative problem solving skills and the ability to lead the team through difficult problem analysis and resolution.
