An experienced "Supply Chain Coordinator" is sought after by one of the leading conglomerates in Dubai, UAE. This will be an initial 6 month contract and has a chance to become a 12 month contract.

Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Employment Type: 6-12 month contract

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Purpose:

To work as a key member of the supply chain team to provide support in assuring that overall purchasing objectives are carried out to meet company requirements. The role will supervise, coordinate and expedite placement of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of product.

The role will ensure all supply chain duties are carried out accurately and provide a supportive role within the supply chain Department.

Key Requirements:

* 2-4 years as a Supply Chain Coordinator or Executive
* Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and demand management across the full range of products and markets within a multi brand environment and industry such as FMCG, Automobile spares or Pharmaceuticals
* Ability to challenge the norm and think outside the box
* Good working knowledge of operational planning systems (SAP, Tableau) and procedures, forecasting, material requirement planning (MRP) and BOM's, with a good appreciation of other related functions
* Good planning and organisational skills
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
