    Requirements
    The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual with a proven track record in PCB design from a schematic perspective with very high first pass success rate. You are a detailed oriented person with strong desire to seek perfection each time designing a new PCB. You are driven to take ownership of the issues and follow through to resolution working closely with other team members as required. The role requires strong communication and coordination skills to work with hardware engineers and other team members. You like developing PCBs and thrive to learn new skills and tools to improve PCB design techniques. 

    Key Responsibilities 
    Interpretation and interaction with the schematic circuit to formulate a strategy for the placement and optimal circuit routing that follows the acceptability guidelines and principles for Electromagnetic Compliance (FCC & CE) and Design for Manufacturing
    Independently make decisions, conduct process analysis for placement of components, stack-up planning with impedance calculations and critical nets routing
    Interpretation of device manufacturer datasheets to create and maintain a Component Library of schematic symbols and PCB footprint
    Ability to run and interpret signal analysis tools (such as HyperLynx, Allegro PCB SI, etc.)
    Creation of engineering manufacturing drawings and documentation, data output files to support the fabrication of PCBs and data interchange files
    Create a project work estimate based on design complexity and transform tasks into a managed schedule
    Support hardware team with support tasks such as testing, troubleshooting and other circuit design tasks as necessary 

    Qualifications
    5 years experience with multi-layer laminated stack-up structures for designs of high-speed digital interfaces such SuperSpeed USB, 10 Gbps Ethernet, and DisplayPort, impedance controlled routing, as well as knowledge of switching regulator design and power distribution network
    Working experience with one of these schematic capture and PCB design tools: Cadence OrCAD and Allegro PCB, Altium, or Mentor Graphics
    Working knowledge of IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries (Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits) standards
    Experience with a mechanical design program (AutoCAD or equivalent) for designing PCB panel drawings would be an asset
    Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
    Proficient in latest MS-Office tools, web-usage and web-based tools

    You will be a key contributor to Icrons product development team. You must be proficient working in a multi-task and high pace environment while communicating and coordinating with different stake holders. The successful candidate must have completed a Bachelors degree or diploma in an Engineering or related field.
