The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out Site Civil & Structural execution activities.
Day in & day out interaction with Contractors for resource management as per Project requirement. Preparation & analysis of material requirement as per drawings. Inspection of site construction in line with QAP.
Dealing with Employers representative at Site.
Familiarity with all Civil, Structural works, water supply & sewage treatment, electrical etc.
Taking site execution measurements, Contractors bill certification
Coordination with site management activities
Resolving bottlenecks and Construction fronts management
Preparing and reviewing Method Statements and Work Specific Quality Control Plans.
Ensuring materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality.
Regular meetings with the contractor and contractor representatives to discuss project progress
Regular meetings with the clients representatives for various ongoing activities at site
Undertake regular site inspections with contractor to assess, program and quality.
Inspect the works undertaken for compliance with required quality and good workmanship practice.
Preparing work schedules, monitoring the progress for his area of execution
Preparing daily/weekly progress reports & providing inputs to site planning manager
Taking active part in complying with Quality (ISO 9001) & HSE (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) norms along with relevant documentation.
Preparation of SOQ & BOQ and site modification sketches
Experience in CHP (Coal Handling Plant), Wagon tippler, Car Dumper.
In-depth experience in Civil & Structural works execution of Material Handling projects.
Good analytical skills with the ability to provide solutions to issues.
Self-motivated with sound interpersonal skills coupled with a confident style of behavior.
Good communication skills when dealing with project staff and potentially the client.
