Job Description:
Technical role in HW design for mobile device development. To define HW requirement for new platform or new features.
Work closely with business team/architectural to define product requirements/specifications based on marketing requirement and to ensure the product design and development from ODM/JDM supplier meet the feature & quality expectation.
To define HW system test and guide test team perform test verifications to ensure the designs comply with product requirement.
To be able to hands on to work on critical issues that has schedule/business impact
Experienced in the development of technology and product road maps.
Lead product and feature development using a platform development strategy with LTE technology.
Job Requirement:
Telecommunications or Computer Science or Computer engineering degree holder from a recognized university. Higher degree is preferred.
Min 7 years experience in Product Development environment .
Knowledgeable in mobile device emerging technologies, including Smartphone LTE chipset architectures, geo-location technologies, camera/video, touch screen displays and public and private WANs/PANs.
Proven experience providing technical solutions and implementation of systems and subsystems consisting of hardware and software components including feature requirements, architecture, design, and test strategy.
Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to see assignments through to completion with minimal oversight. Good communication and influencing skills to work across the functional team.
Embedded Linux and Android development a plus.
Knowledgeable in LTE 3Gpp standard a plus.
Experience in dealing with ODM/JDM vendor a bonus.
Must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
