A Leading Healthcare company in UAE is looking to hire a Head of Procurement for their Corporate office in Dubai. The group is currently managing multiple hospitals and Medical Centres in the region. The Job responsibilities would be as under
The position would be based in Dubai and the person would be responsible for managing procurement for multiple hospitals and clinics. The job role would include but not limited to the following -
* Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies towards procurement of all equipments & pharmaceutical items
* Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
* Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
* Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
* Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
* Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
* Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
* Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
* Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
* Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

Required Candidate profile
The ideal candidate must be -- from the Healthcare industry only (should be currently working in a Hospital setup)
- Must have experience in Pharma procurement
- Must be handling 4-5 hospitals and some medical centres
- A Good leader and strategist
