POSITION: Field Mechanical Engineer
QUALIFICATION: DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
EXPERIENCE: 10 TO 15 YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE IN REFINERY / OIL & GAS PROJECT
The Field Mechanical Engineer duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Preparation of Site Query for mechanical packages
MTOs verification
Verify subcontractor and vendor documents from technical compliance
Provide inputs to Inspection and test
Prepare the Method Statement
Participate in site inspection activities
Provide technical inputs for the Permit to WORK package
Technical assistance of subcontractors
Provide inputs assistance to the Mechanical Completion
Provide assistance for commissioning and start-up activities when required
Preparation of Lifting Plans
Piping systems shop and field pressure testing packages
Piping systems flushing, cleaning and drying packages
Piping systems leak testing and purging packages after MC as part of static commissioning
Assisting Field Engineering Manager for shutdown planning and development of shutdown execution plans
Support Home Office Mechanical Engineer in below tasks
Preparation of Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, MTO
Technical assistance to the Procurement team
Conducting procurement engineering activities (Vendor design control)
Participating Factory Inspection Tests for critical equipment
Commissioning support when required
