Air Circuit Breaker Repair Technician
- Good knowledge LV and MV switchgears as air circuit breaker vacuum circuit breaker and ring master unit. Knowledge about protection device according to load and supply voltage.
- ~Good knowledge about power factor panel. Knowledge in Power Curve Analysis.. Work with protective Relays and Energy Management solution products. Operation and Maintenance of 110/11KV GIS substation, 16MVA transformers, switchgears, HV capacitor banks, HV/LV ATS and battery charging units.
- Operation and Maintenance of 11/0.433KV indoor substation, 2MVA oil/dry type transformers, switchgears, LV capacitor banks and battery charging units.
- Can repair and upkeep HV/LV electrical distribution system, transformers, HV/LV panels, VCB and ACB breakers, HV/LV ATS breakers etc. as well as mechanical installations.
- Conduct first response troubleshooting and fault finding following alarms or supply interruption due to operation of protective devices. This includes interpretation of technical diagrams to diagnose and assessment of priority of faults.
- Can troubleshoot & maintain HV/LV electrical relay panel board, VCB, ACB & MCCB.
Detailed knowledge of application & product- construction of components & assemblies Routing maintenance of 66KV & 11KV Substation HT/LT Switch gear with contracted MD of 750 KVA and auxiliary switch yard equipment.
ACBs, MCCBs of range 4000 Amps and 800 Amps with LT Power Control Centres (PCC) of Multiple Bus Bar System as well as Motor Control Centres of L&T , SIEMENS, ABB, CROMPTON, GREAVES etc.

As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for performing repairs down to the component level on a wide range of industrial equipment including variable speed drives, PLCs, HMIs and power supplies, PCBs etc
- Performing repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment including variable speed drives, PLCs, touch screen HMIs and power supplies
- Diagnose and repair units down to the component level
- Working with and without the aid of schematics
- Soldering and reworking components (SMD and thru-hole)
- Creating and following test procedures
- Using problem-solving skills to find a logical approach to testing and fault finding
Skills Required
- Minimum 2 Years experience in a similar role
- Good hand soldering skills
- Experience repairing to component level
- Experience using measurement tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
