Job Duties:
The role is to manage functional tests, Unit testing, API testing, test automation and performance testing for risk systems needed for software development lifecycle of the product. You will work with developers to learn and understand software requirements and design. The role will require to write and review test plans and test cases, as well as execute test cases, record results, and code defects. You will be responsible for owning the test strategy for offering end-end. As a QA person you will also be involved in selection and execution of automation tools and frameworks for test automation. You will also be responsible for managing deployment process by using deployment tools and verify the deployment by running sanity tests.
Qualification- Software engineering; additional qualification in Finance is desirable, FRM, CFA desirable
MUST HAVE:
- Knowledge of Risk, OTC derivative , front office processes
- Hands on experience on any scripting language like Python, Perl, Selenium, Shell scripting.
- Experience with libraries like ReactJS and API OpenFin is desirable.
- Experience/knowledge of SpecFlow testing strategies.
- have hands-on experience in defining overall testing approach and define the test plans
- Strong team, communication and planning/organizing skills.
- Experience of setting up test frameworks for new projects.
- Experience of the development of repeatable test suites for testing F2B processes.
- Practical experience of QA testing within investment banking.
- Proven experience of automated testing.
