Roles and Responsibilities


  • To be the focal point for project quality related issues and their resolution at project site,
  • Establishes, manages and maintains the Quality Management System of the Project,
  • To prepare and ensure the Site Project Quality Plan is in place, approved and all work is being carried out to it and the quality of inspection maintained,
  • Maintain an efficient communication between headquarter Quality management regarding the implementation of the Project Quality Management System,
  • Enforce adoption of quality induction training courses to promote Project personnel awareness and conscious implementation of the CONTRACTOR Project Quality Plan,
  • To ensure all work is executed to the contract requirements, project specifications, procedures and standards and to Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings,
  • To ensure site inspection and testing record documentation is collected, compiled and packaged for handover to the Client in accordance with contractual requirements,
  • Ensure that all dispositions of quality control activities are properly implemented in accordance with the quality control system at the project site level,
  • Prepare discipline vise inspection test plans and make sure inspection team respected and followed up requirements given throughout the Client approved inspection test plans at project site level,
  • Coordinating and supervision of activities of quality control personnel and inspection team on the field,
  • Managing daily and weekly quality meeting with the Client and his third party

  • Preparing all contractual technical correspondence relative to quality control to be addressed to the Client, his third party and/or project nominated Subcontractors via the Site Project Manager. Maintain continuous contact on the construction with the Company representative and local authorities,
  • Perform site internal quality audits on the project organization and subcontractor, generate reports and corrective actions, and confirm corrective actions are closed out,
  • Managing the non-conformance system involving the Construction / QC department at project site level,
  • Ensuring that traceability is maintained in all material and that quality records are individually and coherently numbered,
  • Assuring, preparing the documentation packages for the Commissions precom,
  • Commissioning /start-up activities and final acceptance in collaboration with the QC Documentation Engineer,
  • Assuring that whole acts/reports/logbooks are dully signed and endorsed by all involved parties,
  • Drawing up and forwarding a daily or/and weekly figures of the welding and documentation activities to the Site Project Manager and head office quality management (KPI follow up).

Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of experience in QA/QC for various industrial plant and/or energy projects in quality related positions and min 8 years of management experience,
  • Have established and managed Integrated Management System,
  • Experience in developing and reviewing project quality plans, contract documents and project specifications,
  • Coordinate Test Pack preparation and Final Handover documentation activities to ensure smooth handover,
  • Conduct and organize QMS Internal/External audit and ensure close out of all Inspection and Audit Non conformities,
  • IRCA registered Lead Auditor Certificate Holder,
  • Fluent in English language and Russian Language Knowledge as additional preferred
  • Holding below valid qualification certification is required;

AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), ASNT Level II Radiographic (RT), Ultrasonic (UT), Liquid Penetrant (LP), Magnetic Particle (MT ) in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A and RTN (Russian Federation), NAKS Level III (Welding Technologist).
