To plan, developand implement high quality curriculum.
To teach in areas allocated by the Head and Board of Advisors (BoA).
To develop termly Schemes of Work and lesson plans for allocated programmes.
To develop, maintain, review and update resource materials.
To assist and support the individual learning needs.
To provide pastoral care, guidance and counseling in order to shape their academic, professional and personal development
To maintain students records.
To monitor student attendance and progress, achievement.
To assess students coursework.
To administer the examination and marking processes.
To participate in the School Academic Board Meetings, Area of Learning meetings, or any other formal meetings and committees with authorities such as Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and Awarding Bodies when requested.
To collect students feedback (Recruitment, course, school and leavers)
To produce quantitative and qualitative course reviews at the end of the academic year.
To participate and contribute to in-house training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes as well as to maintain own CPDs.
To participate in the administration of the departmental programmes of study when requested.
To establish progression route and links with Universities.
To develop and maintain industrial and commercial links.
To perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School/Deputy Head of School/Dean
Candidate Must be Master's in Tourism with relevant experience in Teaching, Consultancy and Research. Ph.D will be preferred.
