Position Title: Sales Manager - Singapore
Reporting to: Managing Director (Honkong)
Job location: Singapore
Experience: Minimum 9 yrs
Job Purpose:
- The purpose of the position is to focus on New Business Sales in Singapore
- Responsible to manage entire sales process and to create and maintain good relationship with customers
- Main focus is Enterprise market
Duties and Responsibilities:
The sales people will be required to carry a number of tasks in a highly professional manner,
including:
Telesales to generate own appointments
customise customer proposals
attend customer meetings to present the offer
demonstrate independence in sales process
negotiate and get contracts signed
report activities and maintain CRM information in Salesforce database
accurately forecast revenue and gross margin
Key Performance Indicators
Generate leads
Acquire new customers through signing contracts
Forecast Revenue and Gross Margin
Maintain good long term relationship with customers
Technical/Functional Skills: ( Use E to denote Essential and D for Desirable)
Basic knowledge of network terms and jargon (E)
Knowledge of the various network technologies eg MPLS, IP-VPN, SDLS, ADSL etc and the functionalities of each of them
Competency & Behavioral Skills: (Use E to denote Essential and D for Desirable)
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (E)
Ideally sold telecoms/system integration products/services in previous role (D)
preferably sold successfully in an organisation with an emerging brand (D)
a positive attitude to the opportunity and work at a high activity level (E)
a willingness to travel (D)
Extensive network of contacts and business relationships (E)
Confident and open interpersonal skills (E)
Strong target orientation and motivation (E)
Capability to manage and drive to close complex sales (E)
Strong service orientation and customer focus (D)
Ability to succeed in start up environment (D)
