Assignments would include all the Electrical, civil, mechanical site works for Substations and transmission lines utilizing client standards includingbill of materials. Should be conversant with Single Line protection and Metering diagrams, yard layouts, plans, sections and details, and civil aspects of project, control building arrangements, electrical and structural works, transmission line stringing procedures, installation and commissioning procedures for switchgear, transformers, bus bars and related hardware and other sub station equipments, cable trenches AC and DC power systems, batteries, cable schedules, drum schedules etc.
Should possess experience in the project management of EPC projects of substations of 132 /220 / 330KV.
Self-motivated possess excellent skills in communication, supervising problem solving, coordinating with client, consultant, and vendor.
Assume overall smooth execution and timely completion of entire project in line with the contractual commitments.
Should possess Management key functions include implementation of the, quality, HSE, risk management, cost control, sub-contractor management, financial management of the project.
End to End Responsible for the Execution of Project ( complete in all aspects for all disciplines).
Shall have a complete concept of Project Execution Design, Mobilization, Civil, Electrical, Testing & Commissioning and Handing over.
Shall Monitor projects, identify issues and resolve the same balancing time and cost.
Estimate optimum resources, Shall be able to monitor productivity, manage the resources in the project effectively.
Tracking and planning day to day activities at site with respect to Master Schedule.
To Implement Master Schedule/Micro Schedule including Resource Planning & tracking logs for various activities.
To prepare QA/QC/IT Plans, Review & Track QA/QC procedures for site.
Review manuals.& Track Safety Procedures.
To do Value Engineering and comments on drawings/ packages.
To monitor, control & verify assigned contractors progress and bills.
To ensure sufficient manpower at site with contractors representatives.
To Overview and review Cost of the Project on regular basis.
To review contractors work & provide feedback to management.
To carry out day to day activities like Planning, coordination, monitoring, correspondences & admin works.
Other duties as assigned.
Will to travel client sites and interface with representatives from the client, construction team and vendors.
Requires demonstrated ability to direct and supervise the work of a team of electrical and civil engineers and to plan and execute the work within established schedules and budgets.
Responsible for all site activities for construction & commissioning of substations and transmission lines on various projects from 11kV up to 400 kv voltage level.
