Sr. Manager/ Manager - HR for Jindal Steel Power Limited (Georgia)

Experience: 8 to 12 yrs.



  • Strategize and lead HR initiatives, suitably aligning policies, to meet organization's short, medium and long term business goals, nurture an organizational culture that promotes high performance and productivity and a values centric approach.
  • Responsible for well aligned HR systems for international business, such as: - Staffing, Induction, PMS, Training, visa & Travel arrangement etc. He is also to provide all the support to the employee.
  • Shall be responsible for the overall management of HR- International cell. Incumbents for this position shall be responsible for manpower planning, Recruitment, formulating systems, policies and procedures, Compensation Planning, implementing Performance Management System, visa and travel management and general administration work related to employees.
  • Designing and maintaining information flow for MIS and Database management. Facilitating informed decision-making and tracking critical metrics. Ensuring timely MIS for Global Headquarters.
  • Organizing welfare activities for employees interaction and generating cordial work culture.
  • Employee Relations, grievance handling, counseling and conflict resolution. Interfacing with the functional heads and employees for all employee related issues.
  • Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management-employee relations and achieve dedication by workers.
  • Negotiating and amicably settling disputes with the Union and maintaining discipline & harmonious working environment across all employee levels.
  • Liaisoning with Legal Advisors for conducting the on-going labour related litigations.
  • Enforcing general discipline in the site in accordance with the standing orders of the company.

Candidate should be Degree in HR from leading Management school with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience.

Possess knowledge about the International HR practices & Systems experience in multinational and multi-location industry.
Possess experience in formulating & implementing of HR Policies.
Should possess the functional experience in organizations practicing progressive peoples management practices. He should have a sound conceptual knowledge, exposure to latest HR systems and practices in the areas of recruitment, training, performance management, Compensation and Rewards management and Industrial Relations.
Significant experience in the implementation of human resources projects within a multinational International HR context.

Candidate should have strong knowledge in International human resources functions including Recruitment of foreign nationals, legal aspects, performance and management, career and training management.

Candidate should have good interpersonal skills to interact with a range of personalities, styles and nationalities and to establish effective relationships at all levels
