Preferably in Petrochemical industry or reputable oil and gas organization. Candidate should have worked in training centers and managed technical training for his organization
1) Technical Learning and Development Strategy:
- Advise on technical learning strategy and align with L&D Strategy for deliverable and resources
- Advise on execution and operational plans for technical tracks for manufacturing and technical services including methodologies for On-Job-Training and certifications
- Benchmark with global practitioners and leading technical institutions/events based on relevant focus areas
- Advise on enhancement of mentoring program for manufacturing and technical staff
- Advise on feasibility study for technical training center and operator training system operated by Company.
2)Technical Competency Management :
- Advise L&D on technical competencies based on role profiles and key job responsibilities
- Guide on assessment methodologies and gap analysis reports based on competency assessments and simulation exercises
- Advise on development maps/tracks based on job families development requirements
- Advise on career maps and technical ladder progression
3)Technical Curriculum (Content Design/Delivery & Evaluation)
- Advise and design (as applicable) learning curriculum for technical staff ( matching business needs and learning styles)
- Define quality measures for customized and off the shelf content for technical disciplines
- Conduct train the trainer sessions for department trainers and Subject Matter Experts for content delivery
- Conduct audit on certification practice and panel assessment for mentoring program
- Advise on measurement of training effectiveness for technical disciplines
- Advise on blended learning solutions, self study and On-Job-Training and internship development solutions
- Advise on technical knowledge management and define road map for implementation
4)Partnership and Alliances
- Establish partnerships/alliances with technical universities and academic platforms for technical knowledge
- Establish road map for company technical academies for manufacturing and technical services
- Advise on external vendors to support company in technical training development
