Mechanical Planner

Qualification & Experience : 
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the specified trade of practice.
Minimum of ten (10) years varied shipyard experience with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in planning, scheduling of the trade practice.
 
Description : 
Employee should visit Vessels requesting services at field to determine needs; gather necessary information; and develop plans to complete the repair and/or refit.
Employee should possess the necessary knowledge and have varied hands on experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferably SAP.
Employee should be capable to interact with the CMMS to process Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Purchase requisitions, Purchase Orders, Cost Analysis, Planning and Scheduling, etc.
Employee prepares specifications, scope of work, and material requirements. Also, prepare shop and field drawings and/or sketches in conjunction with the Port Engineering unit.
Employee estimates labor and material requirements and determines an appropriate job sequence plan using a variety of estimating practices.
Employee prepares bill of materials for each refit, including description, quantity, specifications.
Employee prepares work and timetable schedules; monitor progress of refit/repair, conduct inspections, and report to unit supervisor.
Employee acts as an inspector for various maintenance and vessel refits.
Employee recommends priorities, and prepares justification.
Employee performs related duties as assigned.

Qualification : 10th
Experience : Should have minimum 3-4 years experience in related field.

Electrical Planner

Qualification & Experience :

Radio Radar Observer

Description :
Shall at all times during the term of the Contract be in possession of a valid Radar Observer’s Certificate issued by the British Department of Transport or equivalent acceptable to SAUDI ARAMCO.  Shall be capable of manning the Port Radar Surveillance System and providing accurate information to the Ships’ Masters and Harbor Pilots to assist vessels to safely navigate through Channel and Port.  

Shift Coordinator

Qualification & Experience : 
Considerable knowledge of the Marine Port control trades including methods, materials and special techniques.
Ability to plan, coordinate and supervise the work of subordinate personnel.
Considerable knowledge of the safety requirements of rigging heavy equipment.
Ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of skilled employees.
General skill in the operation of heavy equipment.
Graduation from high school and ten (10) years of experience in Marine port control activities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three years of the required experience must be at sea going.
Experience in general cargo handling and crane operations.
Valid driver's license. 
Operating multi-channel radios.

Description : 
Coordinates the Marine operations at West Pier and acts as liaison providing work direction to units at Abu Ali, Ju'aymah and Safaniya during after hours, weekends and holidays.
Shall have daily contact with all Marine Unit-heads and Foreman for pertinent instruction on operations. 
Ensures the Shift Controlman allocates berths to each Marine    craft prior to arrival and that he make optimum use of berths, buoys and anchorages at West Pier. 
Ensures the Supervising Pier Controlman coordinates truck and heavy crane movements to avoid congestion and ensures efficient movement of materials onto and away from pier. Also  ensures that he determines priorities for use of cranes and labor crews assigned to West Pier. 
Ensures continuous contact is maintained with other units on  operational changes at pier effecting these units.
Acts in the event of emergencies, such as fires or equipment    failure to bring conditions under control by issuing appropriate orders and taking other necessary action. 
Insures safety of all operations under his control in conformity with approved Loss Prevention procedures. Continually inspects area to ensure an overall efficient operation.
Shares responsibility for cleanliness and orderliness of Pier with other Supervisors.

Marine Dock Master

Qualification & Experience :
Considerable knowledge of the structure of vessels, stress points, load factors, cradle positioning, and blocking of vessels.
Considerable knowledge of vessel stability calculations and docking plan development.
Considerable knowledge of rigging and aligning heavy equipment.
Considerable knowledge of the safety requirements of rigging heavy equipment.
Considerable knowledge of the floating dock capabilities and the associated mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
General knowledge of the shipbuilding trades and of shipyard maintenance requirements.
Ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of skilled employees.
General skill in the operation of heavy equipment.
Graduation from high school and ten (10) years of experience in a ship repair facility with concentration on blocking, cradling and docking of vessels and the operation of dry-dock equipment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Description : 
Plans and oversees the dry-docking of vessels using Saudi Aramco floating dry-docks.
Reviews docking plans for technical adequacy.
Checks hull contours and structural members of a vessel to determine and ensure the proper placement of lifting blocks; is completely responsible for a vessel during the entire operation.
Maintains the floating dock’s associated equipment and systems, i.e., pumps, valves, tanks, cranes, and machineries.
Maintains vessels cradles.
Operates crane, forklift, and other heavy equipment.
Supervises skilled riggers who handle, remove, install and align heavy shipboard equipment. Reports to the Marine Shipyard Superintendent and is reviewed through personal discussions and the maintenance of a safe and efficient hauling and dry-docking schedule.
Monitors safety on the floating dock and the vessel on it.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsible for developing the blocking configuration for each vessel, docking and undocking procedures, and all related safety practices.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the floating dry-dock, cradle docking small vessel at jetty cradles.
During docking/undocking operations, dockmaster has the overall responsibility.

Equipment Specialist

Qualification & Experience : 

Fluently speak, read and write English.
Trade School graduate with two (2) or more Years College or Technical Institute Training or equivalent preferably in Marine Engineer discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years experience, preferably in the Marine Transportation Industry and Shipyard Operation.
Has a thorough knowledge of Engineering practices, economic principles and design details.
Must be a computer literate and familiar with SAP.
Must be will oriented with Marine Hull and Hull Equipment of Ships; Boats, Barges, Floating Dock and similar crafts, Marine machinery and propulsion equipment including heat exchangers, hull piping, propellers, shafting, reciprocating engines, turbines, reduction gears, pumps, compressors, pipes, valves and various auxiliary equipment and special-purpose equipment peculiar to Marine operations. 

Description : Employee develops technical procurement packages including quality assurance, test, and inspection requirements. 
Employee reviews Technical Data, Drawings and Specifications to determine and establish sources of manufacturers.
Employee determines alternate supply methods (e.g.) cannibalization, fabrication and in-house manufacture.
Employee provides technical information to vendor and maintains equipment information in a data base and maintains an accurate Master Data baseline for equipment managed.

Re-Fit Coordinator

Qualification & Experience :
General knowledge of work performed by the various trades and the ability to direct and coordinate the efforts of trades such as sandblasting, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, painting, cement finishing, heating, air conditioning, and sheet metal services.
Marine Engineer / Naval Architect degree holder.
Fifteen (15) years ship building/repair experience essential, of which a minimum shall be ten (10) years supervisory experience in the areas of ship repair and conversion.
Possess good organizational skills.
Possess good Management skills - people and resources.
Possess basic working Knowledge of Windows applications including Microsoft Projects.

Description : 
Manage ship repair projects.
Manage and coordinate works of other contractor.
Review and enforce contractor Loss Prevention program.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Plans, schedules and assigns work via oral or written instructions to be accomplished on emergency/service, preventive maintenance, minor or specific jobs.
Resolves unforeseen technical and trade problems in the unit.
Ensures schedules are met, or reports reasons for non-compliance to immediate supervisor, possibly requiring a revision of estimate submittal.
Attends formal and informal meetings with immediate supervisor and planning personnel concerning ways and means of accomplishing the work projects, andwhere possible, improving efficiency.

Re-Fit QA Engineer

Qualification & Experience : 
Knowledge of shipfitting, welding, and pipefitting trade practices.
Knowledge of the procedures associated with preparing job orders and work packages.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, instructions, specifications and other related materials.
Ability to prepare work scope packages using computer software including EXCEL, ACCESS, WORD and Windows NT. etc.
Plans and schedules work, reviews work orders, plans and estimates.
Discusses technical aspects of the work with subordinate shipfitter, welder, and pipefitter.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in shipfitting or welding trade practice.

Responsibility : 
In addition to the Basic Requirements, responsible for certifying accomplished shipfitting, welding, and pipefitting trade practice planning functions in the shop and at the field on board marine vessels.
Makes sure material is efficiently procured and utilized.
Records are accurately maintained; coordinating the receipt and distribution of all maintenance orders and work instructions; assuring that maintenance orders are well maintained and uploaded to SAP.
Monitors shop commitments and making sure that job execution meets work requirements and taking necessary corrective actions.
Keeps records and repair history.
Review work scopes.
Provides work status information during the work process and after work packages have been issued.
Works closely with marine engineers, supervisors, workers and planners to assist in meeting schedules established by the maintenance administration

Facility Engineer

Qualification & Experience 
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of seven (7) years engineering experience in the areas civil project, design and establish regular preventive schedule to maintain buildings and stations in a good operation conditions as per Saudi Aramco engineerings statndards and regulations.
Shall be experienced in preparing work specifications packages of buildings, technical reports, quality control, execution repair activities to expedite the WORK in the most safe and economic manner to meet agreed production schedules.

Port Engineer

Job Description : 
Valid Chief Engineer License equal to or better than a British Department of Transport Class 2 Certificate of Competency or a BS Degree in Marine Engineering.
At least ten (10) years experience maintaining different type of vessels;
Fluent in both written and spoken English and shall be capable of producing vessel maintenance work scopes using a personal computer;
Experienced in preparing dry dock refit packages of vessels, technical reports, quality control, ship repair activities and IMO requirements to expedite the WORK in the most safe and economic manner to meet agreed production schedules; and
Assignments shall include troubleshooting mechanical and simple electrical problems on vessels and effecting repairs or any other such duties within the capabilities of the Port Engineer as directed by the Company Representative.
