POSITION: Technical Safety Engineer

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8-12

EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

 

DOMAIN / INDUSTRIES: Oil & Gas/Offshore/Marine/Subsea

KEY PARAMETERS: Safety, HAZOP

SKILLS

• Provide technical guidance and develop procedures for process safety engineering.
• Conducting Hazop, Hazid, PHA, SIMOPS, and LOPA analysis.
• Liaising with other disciplines and providing comments on deliverables like P&ID etc.
• Taking ownership of closing Hazop action item.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Good at understanding clients' safety specifications and applicable standards.

• Leading, coordination and preparation of Risk assessments and Quantitative Risk Analyses(QRA).

• Collaborate with management to develop safety policies and programs.

• Develop training programs in process safety. safety incidents to determine causes and whether standards need to be updated.

• Excellent communication skills and Vendor interaction.
• Perform technical safety analysis and assessments.

•Having safety certifications from a reputed institute added advantage.
