Senior Quantity Surveyor for Gulf Turrets LLC, UAE

-Reviews the Bill of Quantities cost estimates and budgets
-Reviews the change requests and Contract trend Notice and recommends for Management approval
-Ensures that the requirements with regards to cost estimating and cost control for variations are incorporated in the tender specification documents
-Verifies project control budgets and updates them as required for management approval
-Prepares and reviews the forecast for the final project costs including variations, considering the commitments.
- Checks the monthly progress payment application submitted by contractors and verifies the amount, unit rates and progress percentages in accordance with the contract BOQ.
Follows up with contractors to submit Change Requests and Contract Trend Notices based on approved Change Proposals and instructions to proceed.
-Reviews the Tender queries/Bulletins during the tender stage, including reviewing the final contract documents incorporating Tender queries/Bulletins
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) / Quantity Surveying
-Chartered Quantity Surveyor (RICS or equivalent) is preferable
-8 years cost engineering experience in building industry.
-Knowledge of computer techniques and of relevant vendor packages
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
