Senior Camstar Developer in Philips Lumileds Malaysia Sdn bhd, Malaysia

Primary Functions
This is a senior level of technical contribution in the MES Department. The person requires a high level of creativity in accomplishing complex assignments independently or as an important technical contributor to a project team.
Requires a high level of creativity and capable of performing system related function in the following key areas:
1. Leading Camstar MES Application Supports and Development Team
2. MES Application, DB Troubleshooting, support and management
3. Project management.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities
1. Team up with WW MES team and business as main developer for projects.
2. Positive attitude to work well in matrix organization
3. Design and develop complex component designs.
4. Write and execute unit and integration tests.
5. Provide guidance for junior and medior developers.
6. Serve as 3rd line technical support.
7. Enforcing and enhancing development procedures.
8. Responsible for expert Camstar administration tasks.
9. Responsible for system integration between Camstar MES and other applications.
10. Mentoring Junior members in implementing and provide consultancy
11. Assist in shop floor/Camstar software requirements analysis and implementation of changes to existing and/or new modules as well as related 3rd party solutions to support changing business needs.
12. Develops systems documentation, Prepares technical and user documentation and conducts system training for dept colleagues
13. Interface with fellow colleagues and service providers in resolving application systems related issues. Interface with software application provider to resolve technical/system related issues.
14. Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
