- Salary: 15000 to 18000 AED
- Qualification : Graduate in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics.
- Experience 10 12 years of experience in managing distribution operation and fleet management for an FMCG or Retail company. Of which at least 5 yrs in a managerial capacity. Candidate should have managed minimum of 50 vehicles.
- Driving License : UAE Preferred.
- Knowledge Inventory Management / Materials Management /Logistics / Freight handling
- Skills/Abilities :Planning and Organizing/Leadership/Decision making/Domain expertise/ Communication skills/Interpersonal skills
- MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Resource planning Scheduling of delivery. Arranging and allocating the delivery vehicles as per the work load.
Attending store transfer requests and routing of vehicles.
Updating systems and documentation such as POD collection, delivery orders etc
Monitoring delivery lead times, resource requirement planning per location & distribution of resources ( vehicle type, delivery crew etc)
Contingency planning to manage peak operation requirement. outsourcing arrangements and contract management.
- Grooming delivery crew on behavioral and hygiene aspect.
Coordinates with Customer Care centers on performance measurement.
Recruitment of drivers and delivery crew, training them to improve their performances.
Vehicle purchases and signing maintenance contracts, tracking and maintaining health of vehicle and keeping fit and running. Minimizing down time per vehicle.
Tracking vehicle movements (GPS and other systems) and optimize vehicle deployments.
Disposal of old vehicle as per the policy.
Budgeting and cost optimizing.
